Kettering isn’t chasing a boom. It figured things out a while ago and is keeping them that way. The city’s parks master plan calls for modernizing the Fraze, the summer calendar still runs from WingFest through Art on the Commons, and the neighborhoods around Lincoln Park stay as settled as ever.
Settled suburbs are trade-in country: Kettering buyers usually arrive with a well-kept Toyota and leave with its successor. I like those deals. The history’s right there in the service records.
