Airport Toyota
About Steve

I became a salesperson because I hated salespeople.

I was a software geek for a full decade — never been the stereotypical, classically-trained salesperson.

I got into this because I'd been on your side of the table many times and never liked the experience. Over a decade later, my approach is still the same: direct answers, my personal number to every client, and no "performance." I sell cars the way I would want someone to sell my mother a car.

My approach

How I work

That phone number linked on every page is my personal cell. Not a desk line, not a receptionist. Every client gets it.

The people who get the most out of working with me are the ones who tell me exactly what matters and what doesn't. Won't move on color? Say so. Don't care about the sunroof? Tell me. The more open and honest our communication is, the better this goes.

Tell me what you're trying to accomplish (vehicle, timing, payment, trade) and I'll give you a straight answer on the best path forward. Even if that path is through a different store or brand.

In practice here's what you get in return: text updates instead of phone tag, real availability information (not "let me check with my manager" theater), personalized onboarding, and a structured paperwork day so you're out in a couple hours at your convenience, not half your Saturday. A salesperson who will still be there for you after the sale.

My role

What I am and what I'm not

I'm a Sales & Leasing Consultant at Joseph Airport Toyota in Vandalia, OH. Every transaction (sales, leases, trade-ins, financing) runs through the dealership. This is my personal site, not a Toyota or dealer site.

The inventory I can offer is whatever Joseph Airport Toyota has on the lot or incoming. I don't source from auctions and I'm not a broker. The advantage to you is everything stays under one roof. The same store you bought from is where you go for service, parts, recalls, and ideally your next car.

Outside the dealership: for several years I ran a coat drive through One Warm Coat — hundreds of coats, all going to St. Vincent de Paul's in Dayton. It has nothing to do with selling cars, just a unique opportunity to help the community given by the volume of people I have the pleasure of working with.
